We have a large loft area at the top of the stairs we've always called the "Library". The plan when we added the second floor was to fill the room with book cases. We are finally putting up that book case. There have been many designs (9 to be exact), but finally settled one and are ready to build.
This is the southern (more south-east) view of the Sketchup drawing I created. The opening to the right represents the double doors into the master bedroom.
This is a more complete view of the library looking towards the north-east as seen from the stairs.
Here is a view of the TV compartment with the barn doors opened up.
